Robin Gurney
Partner, Member of the Board

Despite being responsible for altex marketing’s future vision and direction Robin Gurney, still enjoys day-to-day involvement in key client projects, service development and partner & investor relations
He started as an internet marketer in the UK in 1997 and since then has been the creative force and director of hundreds of projects for companies in Estonia, Europe, US and Asia.
Robin regularly inputs on creative strategy for online advertising campaigns and new website development projects.

Birgit Naur
Partner, Finance Director

Since co-founding altex marketing, Birgit Naur has been responsible for all legal and financial issues as well as assisting with language translations.
Birgit has two degrees: in Economics and European Law. In addition to over five years working experience as an accountant she has also served ten years in the Estonian Diplomatic Service.

Tõnis Hinnosaar
Partner, Member of the Board

Tõnis Hinnosaar runs many of the projects at altex and is especially responsible for measuring the performance of websites and internet advertising campaigns. He is a Google Analytics specialist.
He is also heavily involved in the execution of other technical services such as search engine optimisation and digital auditing.
He is an experienced consultant and trainer and regularly speaks at internet marketing seminars.
Tõnis runs the new Rakvere office where altex is establishing a technical services team.
During 2007 Tõnis was acting Managing Director for altex in Estonia whilst Robin established a London operation and focussed on acquisitions and partnerships in the UK market.

Andri Viiand
Senior Project Manager

Andri is the Senior Project Manager at Altex and he's responsible for managing key client and internal projects - including coordinating altex’s various events.
Andri’s wide ranging experiences in E-channels and project management come from 4 years as Web Manager for Estonia's biggest company Eesti Energia where he was responsible for the everyday management and development of Eesti Energia’s web team – which handles more than twenty different websites and intranets in 4 countries.
Andri also managed all of the large website and web content development projects.
Andri is an experienced teacher -he has given more than hundred trainings on content management, web applications and web analytics.
Andri champions Open Software and Open Standards and always ready to share experience and knowledge related to these subjects.

Marina Shutova 






Google AdWords Qualified Individual

Marina is from Russia and is altex’s Russian language internet marketing specialist. She is a linguistics expert with a background in philology and an additional degree in translation and localisation.

She is a Google Qualified AdWords Individual and her work at altex focuses on assisting Estonian companies to sell better online - to Russian speakers in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia.
 

Norman Ojasoo
International Development Manager

Norman Ojasoo is a problem solver and experienced international project manager with significant sales experience. He also likes building computers for fun so his IT support skills are strong.
This powerful combination makes Norman an ideal player in the altex team where diverse skills and multi-tasking are highly valued.
Norman’s role at altex is to develop our international networks and solutions for the benefit of our Estonian and European clients.

Merle Ainsoo 
Designer

Merle Ainsoo is responsible for all design projects (including this website) for both internal and client campaigns.
Her 8 years of experience means she has developed a variety of styles and is consistently able to produce high quality work under pressure.

Maarja Rüüt
General Assistant

Maarja's work involves various office administration tasks plus she plays a growing research role in client projects.
She also helps to coordinate and promote altex’s internet marketing seminars and events.

Maret Kuresoo 






Internet Marketer, Google AdWords Qualified Individual

Maret Kuresoo started working in marketing over 10 years ago including 6 years with Tele2.
Much of her experience has been in internet marketing.
Maret now specialises in search engine marketing, especially Google Adwords campaigns.
She combines calmness and clarity, has a strong creative streak, great campaign ideas and is an excellent copywriter.

David Phillips
Internet Public Relations Geek

David Phillips has a strong academic background in Public Relations.
He gives practical input and works on projects which need his specialist knowledge.
He is also a member of Chartered Institute of Public Relations from 1999 and head of CIPR/PRCA Internet committee.
He has written scientific articles, PR evaluation bibliography and a books called "Evaluating Press Coverage" (1992), "Managing Your Reputation in Cyberspace" (2000), "Online Public Relations" (2001).
He is currently also teaching online PR at Bournemouth University.

Rok Hrastnik
CEE Expansion Advisor

Rok Hrastnik is a leading Central & Eastern Europe online direct marketing professional and a highly experienced international internet manager.
His main job is as International Internet Director at Studio Moderna - managing their internet operations across 22 countries whilst leading a team of 140+ internet marketing professionals throughout the region.
At altex his role will be to advise and assist with our CEE expansion, providing crucial insight into individual CEE markets and strategic input for altex CEE clients.

Rain Rannu
Mobile & International Expansion Advisor

Rain has been involved in the internet and mobile services industry since 2000, as an entrepreneur, consultant and lecturer.
His main role is leading Fortumo.com - a popular mobile payments service for web entrepreneurs and app developers, currently available in 40+ countries in Europe, Asia, North America and Africa.
At altex his role will be to advise and assist with our international expansion and development of mobile opportunities, offering strategic input along the way.
